In this episode of IKEA Home Tour, the Squad travels to St. Louis to transform a dorm room for under 0!

Transform your dorm from boring to cool without breaking the bank! Jesse and Elizabeth from the IKEA Home Tour Squad show you how to inject some personality into your dorm room while working in the essentials on a limited budget. With just a few key pieces, Jesse and Elizabeth transformed a minimal two-bedroom St. Louis University dorm into a warm and comforting space – all for under 0 at IKEA.

When planning your college bedroom decor, an easy way to get started is to find a textile, such as bedding or a rug, that matches your personality, and use it as a color guide for your room. Jesse and Elizabeth chose the JONILL duvet cover and incorporated its color palette into the rest of the room’s furnishings.

For a coordinated and well-stocked bathroom, Jesse and Elizabeth recommended the BADBÄCK shower curtain for its fun colors and neat design, and matching bath accessories like towels, a bathmat, and a bathroom set.

  1. Hi. I would like to purchase the colorful rug under the bed in the left-sided bedroom. I can't find it on my ikea app, and the link to all the products in this video does not work. What is the name and model no.? Thank you.

  2. I love Ikea, buuuuuut in what world are college students paying $500 to decorate, when books cost what they do??? 🤔

  3. Lol "liven up" the room…y'all need to liven up your voices. I was fr about to sleep from those monotonous voices

  4. our dorm is way smaller than this. in one room,we which 4 of us had to fit in one room. our bed was like double decker. 2 each side. 4 tables for each one of us. ANY IDEA ON DECORATING THAT? TO MAKE IT LOOK WAY BIGGER ?? help me..

  5. I actually like the before one….
I don"t know why but IKEA members always add "WAYY TOO" much colors and stuff in a room that, that simple space looks clumsy…

  6. Can they try this again and actually try to decorate for a college student. IKEA is the epitome of college dorm shopping but you couldn't tell by watching this video. I feel like this was more for advertisement purposes and less about giving good advice.
